The best surfers in the world were in town for the Trestles stop on the World Championship Tour. The Reef team ( Ben Bougious, Jay "Bottle" Thompson, & Bobby Martinez) all surfed great but were unfortunately all eliminated by the quarter-finals. 8x World Champion, Kelly Slater, went on to with the event, battling Taj Burrow in the final. "There was some of the best surfing, in an event, ever, happening here at Trestles" explained Kelly after his win. If you had a chance to watch any part of the event you know he was telling the truth.

This week the Monster Energy-Sun Diego Surf Tour presented by Ezekiel, was held at Seaside on September 16th. The waves were rippable and the talent had fun.
